Questions, answered.

What to expect when working with us, from the first conversation to delivery.

How does an engagement start?

We discuss your situation, where support would help and a useful next step. Before paid work begins, we agree the scope, responsibilities and fees.

How does pricing work?

You can engage us hourly, for a defined project or on retainer with agreed capacity. We set out the rate or fee upfront and agree any additional work before it starts.

Can you help if we have no IT team or senior IT leader?

Yes. We help define what the business needs, select providers and review existing arrangements. Where ongoing leadership is needed, we can take responsibility for priorities, suppliers and investment decisions.

We already have a CTO or CIO. Can you provide a second opinion?

Yes. We offer an independent review of plans, supplier proposals and key decisions. This can be a focused assignment, with your existing leadership retaining ownership.

Can you work with our existing team and suppliers?

Yes. We work alongside them, with clear responsibilities for decisions and delivery. That can include technical direction, supplier oversight and coordinating work across teams.

What does fractional or interim leadership mean?

Fractional leadership provides senior support for an agreed portion of time. Interim leadership covers a temporary role or period of change. In either case, we agree the authority, time commitment and handover.

Can we start with a single review?

Yes. A strategy, platform or infrastructure review can be a standalone assignment. We define the questions to answer and provide findings, options and recommended next steps.

Do you support mergers and acquisitions?

Yes. We assess technology risks and investment needs before a deal, plan the transition and lead integration or separation afterwards. Support can cover systems, teams and suppliers.

Do you work in regulated financial services?

Yes. Our experience includes international financial services and working with regulators. We understand the need for clear IT ownership, continuity, security and evidence that controls are operating.

Can you help with security and assurance?

We help review risks, establish security responsibilities and prepare for ISO/IEC 27001 or SOC assurance. We agree which work sits with us and which needs specialist assessment or independent audit.

Can you help us understand and implement AI?

Yes. We help identify useful applications, choose tools and models, and take the work through testing and implementation. This can include assistants, business knowledge tools, workflows and agents, with agreed data access and human review.

Do you advise, lead delivery or build?

All three can form part of an assignment. We can provide advice, lead teams and programmes, or carry out hands-on technical work. We agree what we will deliver and what your team or specialist partners will provide.
